Tiles for Your Home & Garden
About Our Tile
Dragonflies, lizards, oak trees, crows—many of our designs are drawn
from the natural imagery found in the California Delta and wetlands
surrounding Sacramento.
Our new designs are perfect for insetting into tile or stone backgrounds or prepped for hanging as is.
We use a stoneware clay body for our tiles which are hand-pressed and fired to cone 5 (2100°). Tiles shown on this page are stained with an iron oxide slip and then finished with a clear matte glaze. See the next page for additional glazes.
Sizes vary slightly—see each tile for measurements.
The thickness is approximately 3/8” for all.
The framed tiles can be ordered as shown or without the frame border.
The unframed versions of those tiles are under-cut on the overlap areas
that would overlap the surface of your field tiles.
The large format tiles with frames are $85 each. The unframed versions are $75 each.

Custom Orders
In 1999, WDT recreated this vintage California Art Tile Company
fireplace that had water and earthquake damage. We still have the molds!
The entire fireplace is available. You may also just order the
decorative 4-tile side insets featuring a potted pomegranate vine with
fruit and flowers, or the “End of the Trail” mantel corbels.
